Trustee candidate Kathleen Carlsen sat down with us to chat about why she is running in the upcoming by-election. It’s clear that the issue of integrity as well as putting students and families at the heart of our decision-making process is important to her.
“I’m running for School Board Trustee because I believe in honesty and integrity,” says Carlsen. “You might have heard about issues that have been plaguing the School Board over the last year. The focus has been taken off of where it needs to be. It needs to be on the students, the kids, the families, the staff, the teachers…and I’m going to be that voice.”
